How Tevfik Arif of Doyen Group Would Effortlessly Steal The show

Tevfik Arif of Bayrock Group, also known as one of the founders of Doyen, was born on May 15, 1963, in Taraz, Kazakhstan.  He is one of the four sons born to his parent.  Much is not known about his childhood years or his youth up until the age of 40, partly because he keeps his private life private. However, it is believed that his family was a middle-class family and that Tevfik Arif Doyen had a happy childhood and bubbly youthful years. He is the second born child of the four siblings.

He is said to have joined the Moscow Institute of Trade and Economics and later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. He proceeded to work at the Ministry of Commerce and Trade before the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Here, Tevfik Arif Doyen spent 17 years of his life working first as a chief economist and was later promoted to the deputy director of Hotel Department in the same Ministry.

The Hotel Department ran a chain of hotels in Moscow as well as other regions in Russia. He would later on venture outside government affairs and outside of Russia into business, which would then take him into the US real estate market and beyond as far as his dreams would take him.

After the dissolution of the USSR, Tevfik Arif, one of the partners in the Doyen group and his brothers acquired a chromium plant, ACCP which was located in Aktobe. The ACCP Company had its headquarters in the British Virgin Islands. According to him, this marked a pivotal entry point into the world of business, “after which there was no looking back.”

Together with his brothers, they started a company called Afirov Trio. He later partnered with current USA president, Donald Trump, also a real estate investor in many various real estate development projects which were mutually beneficial. Perhaps this was the fuel that Arifov needed to fire up his real estate investments agendas.

He moved some of his business to the United States of America and founded the Bayrock Group in 2001. He first started developing properties in the Brooklyn region and later expanded to New York and other areas in the US. Tevfik Arif then moved to the Trump Tower, right below Trump’s office, where other deals were struck between him and the real estate Mogul. These deals saw, in 2007, the partnership between the Bayrock Group and the Trump SoHo Hotel and later Trump international hotel.

The businessman later traded the future profit of the SoHo hotel to FC group, an Icelandic company for a sum of USD 50 million. He has received numerous accolades for his contribution and development projects in his home country.

The ever-smiling Tevfik Arif Doyen is vast a soccer fanatic and together with his brothers, has founded the Doyen sports Investment Limited, a subsidiary of the Doyen Group, or merely, the Doyen Sports. Doyen Sports is a private equity fund focusing on career management of football players and coaches. The principal company, the Doyen group, is a hedge fund based in Istanbul, Turkey.

Mr. Tevfik Arif Doyen is a charismatic man with an immense love for the youth. He has a charming personality, and those close to him term him as an irresistible person. He has personally contributed to the fight for a drug-free society and continually. The real estate developer relentlessly engages in various charitable activities and community development funding programs especially those that focus on eradicating alcoholism and drug abuse both in the US and Russia. He is a philanthropist, and his charitable deeds are something to emulate.

Just like most successful people in business, rivalry and often mud-smearing, is a side that comes with their immense success. As a result, Tevfik Arif (one of Doyen’s founders) found himself amidst these sorts of dirty games played by his rivals, the most notable being his one-time partner, who was hell-bent on tarnishing his reputation. In an interview, the real estate developer and investor said he had already forgiven those who conspired to ruin his name.

His sentiments seemed to echo what those close to him portrayed him to be a forgiving and loving father, uncle, and friend. They believe that he always shows compassion and does not take bitterness to heart. He continually emphasizes the importance of working hard, discipline, and diligence in every undertaking.

Although he is not an over devotee to religion, he believes in and acknowledges God’s handiwork and aid in his life’s achievements.  He says, would it not have been for God, chances are he would not have had the strength to go through difficult times in his life, including the trials.

Mr. Tevik Arifov owns many companies, for example, the Specialty Chemical Trading Company, and the famous Bayrock Group, whose headquarters are located in New York City. All of these companies contribute significantly towards charitable organizations such as NGOs and community services programs both in the United States and Russia. His philanthropic work ranges from donating to building schools for the disabled in Russia, Children’s Homes, Medical research projects funding, to Hope Africa.

He is happily married to Gulnara Arifova. He and his wife Gulnara live in any of his homes either in Port Washington, New York, or Turkey. He is also believed to own two other homes one in Moscow and another one in Brooklyn.

Tevfik Arif Doyen is considered one of the most notable figures, who played a huge role in introducing President Trump to Russian investors. Both of these men have had joint ventures in places like New York, Poland, Arizona, Turkey, Ukraine among others through the Arif’s company Bayrock Group.

Though not a Jew himself, Tevfix Arif Doyen is the single largest donor to the Chabad-Lubavitch or simply the Chabad, an orthodox, Hasidic Jewish religious movement best known for its outreach. The Chabad is the largest Jewish religious organization in the world.

Other than that, Tevfik Arif (partner in Doyen group) loves golf, playing with children, visiting the disabled and has helped scores of people by making their life more bearable. Mr. Arif Doyen is perhaps the most very approachable business mogul.
